Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler
Julia Donaldson's books are colourful, delightful, beautifully illustrated stories which all promote wonderful messages for kids. Julia has written many books including the Gruffalo, however these are our favourites.

Pamela Allen
Pamela Allen is a genius with her illustrations and easy to read rhyming stories. The funny Mr Mc Gee features in many. We have almost the complete set however the ones below are also our favourites.

Judith Kerr
Mog is star character in a list of 17 Mog books by Judith Kerr. Mog and sometimes her owners encounter a raft of different problems or episodes in each book.

Eric Carle
Everybody's long time favourite and simply a must have on a child's bookshelf. Since it was first published in 1969, more than 30 million copies has been sold world wide. If you don't have at least one copy on your book shelf already, you must get one! Makes a great keep-sake gift for a first baby!
David Roberts
This one is sure to get some giggles and laughs, however not for the queezy or faint hearted!
Gene Zion
First published in 1956, Harry the Dirty Dog book is another classic "must have" on your child's shelf. Much like the Hungry Caterpillar, Harry the Dirty Dog also makes a great gift for a first newborn baby (we received 2 copies!)
