Grimms Birthday Rings

A new addition to our store is the delightful Grimms Birthday Rings! The Birthday Ring is a German tradition and one that is commonly found in Waldorf schools. So what exactly is a Birthday Ring? The birthday ring is used as part of birthday celebrations and is used as a centrepiece decoration for a birthday or dining table. Each ring can be personalised to match a theme, season or the child's favourite ornament. Used yearly the birthday ring brings a special ambience, tradition and celebratory ritual to all special days.
Grimm's have many decorations to choose from, including sea creatures, flowers, stars, cars and Halloween characters. Wooden numbers from 0 to 9 are also available and can certainly be used in conjunction with the decorations.
Grimms have produced high-quality candles which can also be added. To ensure a good fit in each of the pre-drilled holes, it is recommended that all candles be used in conjunction with the Grimms candle holders (available in brass or aluminium and sold separately). These holders are necessary for safety reasons and will keep the candle secure.
The birthday ring can also be used as part of a nature table or table top decoration at any time of the year.
